The parish church of San Cristóbal was erected in 1501, forming part of the program of creation of the 23 parish of Granada, where the ecclesiastical demarcation of the city was divided after the forced conversion of the Moors, taking advantage of the pre-existing mosques buildings for ideological, Although these soon proved to be inadequately functional and spatially, being gradually demolished.
